Big Shawl

Knifty Knitter Shawl
Instructions
1. Using the extra large loom and one strand of the Italian yarn, e wrap the first 3 pegs and knit on these 3 pegs until you have a 12" long tie.
2. Wrap the rest of the loom, skipping every other peg. Knit on all of the loom stitches until the piece measures 43".
3. Bind off the stitches so that you have the opposite side of the knitting to do a tie for the other side. Sew up as the diagram shows and add 5" fringe.

  • Crochet hook (large)
  • 5 skeins of Kitty Italian Fashion Accent yarn
  • 1 skein Lion Brand Yarn, Micro Spun, in bright blue

    I am new to loom knitting. I followed the pattern, I think, but mine is tiny, at least half the size. And I can't figure out what the tie parts are for. I only used 1 and a half skeins and it is more than 43 inches long.
